No Exceptions.

Approved Coaches Only
  • All trainers must be approved by management.

  • Proof of insurance is required before first session.

  • No “guest coaches” running sessions under someone else’s name.

No Free Coaching / No Poaching
  • No recruiting athletes during another coach’s session.

  • No offering discounted “side lessons” inside the facility.

  • No transferring athletes without communication.

This is a professional environment — not a marketplace.

Technology Use Is Controlled

  • No unsupervised athlete access.

  • Any damage = financial responsibility.

Start & End On Time
  • Sessions begin and end exactly at booked time.

  • Do not spill into another coach’s time block.

  • Clean your cage before the next session enters.

  • All rental fees must be paid on time.

  • No running sessions without an active agreement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages do you train?

We train athletes of all ages, from youth players just getting started to high school and travel ball athletes looking to level up. We group players by age and skill level to make sure everyone gets quality reps.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes. We offer monthly memberships for:

 

  • Individual players

  • Teams (1x per week, 2-hour blocks)

 

 

Memberships give you better value than paying hourly.

Can teams rent the facility?

Absolutely. Teams can reserve:

 

  • 3 full cages

  • 2 half cages

  • 2-hour weekly blocks

  • Monthly recurring times

 

 

Team rentals are locked in so you always have your spot.

What equipment is included?

Your rental includes:

 

  • L-Screens

  • Pitching machines

  • Baseballs & softballs

  • Tees

  • Protective screens

  • Access to training tech -Rapsodo , Hit trax, radar 

 

Just bring your glove and bat.

What is HitTrax and can we use it?

We offer access to HitTrax, a live hitting simulator that tracks:

 

  • Exit velocity

  • Launch angle

  • Distance

  • Spray charts

  • Real-time game simulation

Do you have player development technology?

Yes. We utilize tools like Rapsodo for pitching and Hit Trax for hitting analysis to give athletes real data, not guesswork.

Do I need a coach present?

For youth players, a parent or coach must be present.

Some sessions are coach-only supervised 

How do I book cage time?

Booking is done online through our scheduling system. Members must reserve in advance. Team rentals are recurring and locked in monthly.

What is your cancellation policy?
  • 24-hour notice required for cancellations

  • Missed sessions may be forfeited

  • Team rentals are billed monthly

Coach-Only Training FAQ

What is Coach-Only access?

Coach-Only access allows approved trainers and team coaches to reserve cage space specifically for structured training sessions with their athletes.

This is not open gym time.
This is professional instruction time.

Who qualifies for Coach-Only access?

Coach-Only access is available to:

• Approved independent trainers
• Team coaches with active rentals
• Grind House Academy staff instructors

All outside trainers must be approved before booking.

What technology is included?

Coach sessions will include access to:

• HitTrax
• Rapsodo

Do Trainers need insurance?

Yes. All independent trainers must:

• Provide proof of liability insurance
• Sign facility agreement
• Follow safety policies

Grind House Academy reserves the right to revoke access at any time.

What is the culture expectation?

Grind House Academy maintains a development-focused environment.

Coaches are expected to:

• Run structured sessions
• Maintain professionalism
• Respect shared space
• Clean up after sessions
• Represent the Grind House standard

We are building ballplayers, not running open cages.

Can parents stay during coach sessions?

Yes, but instruction belongs to the coach. Parents observe — they do not coach from the side.
